A light-filled room built for long lunches.

Sandstone, timber, glass and harbour light shape a dining room that feels calm, generous and distinctly Australian. Every detail is designed to let the food and conversation take centre stage.

An interior shaped by Australian materials

The room is built around honesty and warmth: tactile stone, polished timber, natural light and a clear view into the kitchen. Nothing feels dressed up for its own sake. The result is a space that works equally well for a quick lunch, a celebration or a quiet dinner at the bar.

Stone, timber and daylight

Warm sandstone walls and terrazzo floors meet timber furniture and floor-to-ceiling glass. Daylight moves through the room from lunch until late afternoon, when the lighting shifts to a softer evening glow.

An open kitchen and chef's pass

The display kitchen puts technique and produce on show without turning dinner into a performance. Sit near the pass to watch the woodfire grill at work, or choose a quieter corner away from the activity.

A room designed around comfort

Comfortable seating

Tables are spaced for conversation, with soft seating in the lounge and proper dining chairs at every table. Larger groups are seated without feeling separated from the room.

Acoustic calm

Ceiling baffles and considered zoning keep the room lively without making conversation difficult. You can hear the people at your table, whether the restaurant is half full or fully booked.

Harbour outlook

Glass facades frame the Barangaroo waterfront and bring the changing light inside. At sunset, the room shifts from bright and airy to warm and intimate.

Design details

Made to age well. The materials were chosen for the way they wear: stone that holds warmth, timber that deepens in colour and glass that lets the harbour in. Lighting is layered so the room changes gradually through the day rather than switching abruptly from lunch to dinner.

If you would like a particular table or a quieter corner, mention it when you reserve and our team will do their best to arrange it.
